The hotel is located in the center of Mountain Village, Telluride's ski resort, next to three chairlifts and a complimentary gondola offering 15-minute rides to town. A ski-way runs by the property, offering easy access to the hotel from the bottom of the intermediate runs or to the lifts that lead to the beginner and advanced slopes.
Telluride's 18 hole golf course is adjacent to the property, which also features two eight person rooftop hot tubs with views of the surrounding mountain peaks. The inn is tucked inside Mountain Village. Located 1,000 feet about the town of Telluride, the village is at the base of the ski resort, which offers 1,700 skiable acres with 66 trails—21 percent beginner, 47 percent intermediate, and 32 percent advanced/expert—accessible by 12 lifts. Telluride's highest peak, Gold Hill Summit, has an elevation of 12,247 feet, and the annual snowfall is 325 inches.
